BarreAmped for Brie

Recently, one of our BarreAmped studio owners got some very bad news. A single mother and sole operator of B3 Fitness Studio in St. Louis, MO, Brienne Lockridge learned that she would have a long road as she battled cancer. Leukemia to be exact.

Brienne didn’t take the diagnosis sitting down. She kept her spirits up and began fighting this disease at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. In the meantime, when BarreAmped studios and teachers learned of Bri’s condition, they began volunteering to go to her studio and teach classes for her. Support for Bri came flooding in in other areas as well. Studio owners from around the country decided to offer classes on May 10, 2014, as donation only classes to support Bri’s medical funds. Being a young mom of two children, Bri has kept an amazing attitude and fighter’s spirit throughout her health challenge with this sometimes deadly disease and all the BarreAmped teachers and community have been inspired by her commitment to get well.
