Maintaining Your Active Certification Status

Each entry Level 1 training comes with a two year certification that grants you access to training videos, teaching resources, and support. You need to have an active certification to take advantage of new material updates and to have access to our community support. Your Renewal/Expiration Date is set 2 years from the date of your Level 1 training. Find your Renewal Date listed on your downloadable Certificate of Completion or on your Network profile.

Maintain your active certification status with BarreAmped® by 1) remaining a member in good standing of the BarreAmped® Network (i.e. submit yearly or monthly payments without interruption), and 2) complete 2 CE points within our program during your 2-year renewal cycle. If your certification with BarreAmped® has lapsed or expired, you can no longer access your courses, video library, and community support. If you wish to have reactivate, contact us for steps on reactivating your certification.

Free Material Updates

Your Level 1 purchase comes with access to all the features of the BarreAmped® Network as a member. The video library is updated monthly with brand new teaching tips, choreography inspiration, sample segments, and full sample classes. If you wish to continue accessing new material updates, you will need to maintain an active certification status. 

Free Support Service

Your Level 1 purchase comes with two year access to our groups and discussion threads. Connect with fellow trainees, ask questions, and share encouragement with each other on our exclusive BarreAmped® Network social community. If you wish to facilitate further learning and conversation, you will need to maintain an active certification status. 

Refund Policy

If you decide to withdraw from the course at any time, a $75 processing fee will be deducted from your full payment for this course. After that: » A full refund will be given up to 21 business days prior to course start date (minus processing fee). » A 50% refund will be given from 20 days to 1 week to the day prior to the start date (minus processing fee). » No refund will be given from withdrawing 6 days prior, the day of, during, or after the certification course has begun. A $40 fee will be charged to transfer to a future course date for each and every transfer.

Membership & Subscription FAQ

Do I need an active membership to access the BarreAmped® network?

Yes, if you have an inactive subscription to the BarreAmped® Network, you are no longer barre certified by BarreAmped® and will no longer receive new material updates or support for it.

How do I maintain an active certification status?

How can I disable my subscription auto-renewals?

You can disable auto-renewals by going to your My Billing > My Subscription. View the active subscription and click “Cancel.”

I accidentally canceled my subscription, what do I do?

Go to your My Billing > My Subscription. View the “Pending Cancellation” or “Cancelled” subscription and click “Reactivate” or “Resubscribe.”

How do I reactivate if I don’t see a Reactivate / Resubscribe button in My Subscription?

Go to the BarreAmped® Network Plans, choose your plan, and sign up again.

How do I change my BarreAmped® Network subscription from monthly to yearly or vice versa?

Your can change your subscription by going to your My Billing > My Subscription. View the active subscription, then next to the Product name click “Change Subscription” button. Select between yearly or monthly plan, add to cart, then follow the instructions to checkout.

Renewals FAQ

Can I teach barre with a Level 1 certification only?

In most cases, yes! Ultimately, this will depend on the hiring studio or gym. Some will prefer a comprehensive certification, but most will acknowledge the intensive training undertaken by those who are “Level 1 Barre Certified by BarreAmped®.”

What is my Renewal Date?

The date of your Level 1 Training becomes the one and only date you’ll need to remember from here on out. That is your Renewal Date and completion of 2 CE points within our program during the 2 years prior to your Renewal Date are required to maintain an active certification status.

If it’s time to renew my BarreAmped® Network membership, will you notify me ?

We will send you emails informing you about the expiration of your subscription and giving you an opportunity to renew it.

How can I earn CE points in the BarreAmped® program?

Any of our in-person trainings, workshops, and conferences or our online trainings or webinars qualify for CE points. Find the point value listed on the training registration page, or reference this document.

My certification with BarreAmped® has lapsed or expired. Can I reactivate?

Yes! We’d love to have you join us again. Contact us for steps on reactivating your certification.

If the training I want to attend occurs after my Renewal Date, can I still get credit for continuing education?

As long as the training is scheduled within 60 days after your Renewal Date (and you’ve registered prior to your Renewal Date), you’re good to go!!

I’ve already completed my continuing education for this renewal cycle, but there’s another training I’d like to attend. Can I get credit for the next renewal cycle?

If the training or workshop in question occurs within 60 days prior to your Renewal Date, the points can be applied toward your next 2-year renewal cycle.

How do I add a payment method ?

To add a payment method, go to My Billing > Payment Methods, and choose “Add Payment Method”.

How do I remove or update my card?

You can remove or update your card in the My Billing > Payment Methods area.

My subscription is charging the wrong card, how to I fix it?

Go to My Billing > My Subscriptions. View your subscription and click “Change Payment” button.
